Job Title: Cleaning Assistant - Light Duty

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant - Light Duty to join our team at Triune Metal Recycling. As a Cleaning Assistant - Light Duty, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by performing various cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures, and vacuum carpets, area rugs, and upholstered furniture.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Mend clothing and linens.
  • Perform other light cleaning duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically demanding work, including bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check required.

Working Conditions:

  • Non-smoking work site environment.
  • Office building and commercial building work setting.
  • 36 to 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
