Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Nurse LPN to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Nurse LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to medication administration records.
  • Resident Care: Provide resident care while promoting dignity and physical safety, adhering to Sunrise Principles of Service and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Risk Management and General Safety: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and British Columbia Workers Compensation Act requirements, promoting risk management programs and policies, and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
  • Maintain certifications and ongoing training and re-education as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
