We are seeking a skilled Chiropodist to join our team at LMC Healthcare. As a Chiropodist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including nail and callous care, wart treatments, and soft tissue surgeries.
About the Role- Work with a team of Medical Specialists, including Endocrinologists, Pharmacists, and Optometrists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate with an inter-professional team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide foot education to patients and other local professionals.
- Provide full scope of practice Chiropody according to the standards of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
- Perform soft tissue surgeries, biomechanical and gait analysis for offloading purposes.
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are well maintained.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Expertise in providing care to individuals with diabetes.
- Proficiency in use of computers.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
