Job Summary

Vantage Event Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and make any necessary repairs.
  • Transport Goods: Load and unload goods, operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Meet Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety regulations, including those related to hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and cargo securement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
