At Toromont Cat, we're seeking a skilled Resident Service Technician, Heavy Equipment to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service and product expertise to our customers, ensuring repairs are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and technical skills
  • Maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment within established time standards
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on-site visits
  • Work safely, environmentally soundly, and healthily at all times, in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Culture

Requirements:

  • A valid Technician License relative to this position, following Provincial standards
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field
  • Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be beneficial)
  • A valid Driver's License (DZ License preferred)
