Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and publication of ESG disclosures, including sustainability reports and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor emerging trends and regulatory developments to ensure proactive compliance.
  • Manage external advisers and contractors to determine critical priorities for ESG disclosure alignment and timelines for delivery.
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG data from various internal departments and external sources.
  • Develop robust data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal to define methodologies relating to ESG regulations.
  • Provide management and leadership to a team of ESG analysts.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of sustainability leadership experience, including cross-functional collaborations and ESG reporting.
  • Excellent working knowledge of current sustainability reporting and disclosure requirements and trends.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple reporting cycles and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong influencing skills and credibility with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Bilingual - able to write and communicate fluently in both French and English.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • At minimum, a bachelor's degree in sustainability, finance, compliance, or audit.
