Job OverviewWe are seeking a Professional Financial Service Specialist to join our team in Wealth Management. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with wealth advisors to deliver exceptional client service and support the growth of our business.
Job Responsibilities- Support investment advisors in providing superior customer service and meet client requests in a timely manner
- Carry out routine operations related to financial transactions, including purchases and sales of securities, necessary transaction adjustments
- Process deposit, withdrawal, transfer, and currency conversion instructions for all investment accounts and ensure diligent follow-up
- Analyze, open, and update client files to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
- Produce portfolio management reports to help clients make informed decisions about their investments
- Manage administrative tasks related to client files, including scheduling appointments and preparing client meetings
- E nsure adherence to compliance and risk management rules to protect our clients' assets
- Completed college and/or university diploma in a related field (e.g. finance, accounting)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the banking, insurance, or financial industry
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
