Cape Breton University is seeking a collaborative and experienced candidate to join our Department of Law, Economics, Accounting and Finance as an Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Accounting. This is a full-time limited term position (1 year) that will commence as soon as possible.

We are a comprehensive university that offers a range of programs, including undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Accounting. Our faculty members are passionate about teaching and research, and we are known for our friendly and inclusive culture.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or DBA in Accounting (ABD is acceptable) or a Master in Business with the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in good standing. They will be expected to demonstrate potential and commitment to teaching, research/creative/scholarly activities, and service to Cape Breton University, community, and profession.
