About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA for our client. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end implementation of S/4HANA, leading a diverse team of up to 30 individuals comprising members from an internal team, the System Integrator (SI), and the end-user community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the ERP deployment project from design, planning to execution, ensuring that the project scope, budget, and schedule are managed effectively.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mobilize the project team, analyzing the workload of team members and adjusting involvement as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage the relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients, keeping parties informed of progress and issues.
  • Change Management: Ensure that the change management plan is built and delivered, and that the project meets the client's expectations in terms of benefits.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality control process is executed and obtains approval of project deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that action plans are determined and implemented.
  • Issue Resolution: Ensure that project issues are resolved appropriately, and that the project team members are supported in resolving any issues during project execution.
  • Lessons Learned: Collect lessons learned and adjust project planning and execution accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Work in collaboration with external firms, ensuring that the project meets the client's expectations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience as an ERP project manager is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mobilize a team.
  • Education: Ideally a university degree or an equivalent (e.g. PMP).
  • Language: Proficiency in French and English (verbal and written), Microsoft office software packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) as well as Microsoft Project is required.
  • Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
