Camp and Catering Services Partnership

Horizon North is partnered with Chi Mino Ozhitoowin (CMO) to provide an essential spectrum of camp, catering and infrastructure services to the Waasigan Transmission Line Project. CMO LP is owned by Eagle Lake, Lac La Croix, Fort William, Seine River, Lac Seul and Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nations and Ojibway Nation of Saugeen. This partnership is rooted in the shared values of cultural preservation, community well-being and sustainable development and aims to harness the opportunities presented by the Waasigan Project.

Job Description: Clean and Sanitize Team Member

This position involves working as part of a remote team in a camp setting. Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all common areas, including the gym, rec room, boot room and front lobby
  • GARBAGE AND RECYCLING COLLECTION AND REMOVAL
  • Floor care, including sweeping prior to using the T-300 floor scrubber
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all public washrooms
  • Cleaning and sanitizing management offices as well as the front desk area
  • Re-filling hand sanitizer stations throughout site, ensuring they never run out
  • Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
Salary and Benefits

The starting rate for this position is $19.10 per hour, paid on an hourly basis. The rotation schedule is 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Site locations are in remote settings, requiring either air travel to site, or via ground on our shuttle. You may be required to work nights, weekdays, weekends, and general holidays.
