About the Role

BrainStation Inc is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Program Developer to support the development of our Cybersecurity bootcamp curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with our Learning Design team to develop a comprehensive 12-week Cybersecurity bootcamp program.
  2. Design and develop full lessons and industry-based projects that align with industry best practices.
  3. Develop in-class activities, group discussions, demos, and mentor students to ensure they gain hands-on experience.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity skills and technologies to ensure our curriculum remains relevant and effective.
  5. Apply Agile Learning methodologies to continuously improve the educational experience for our students.

Requirements

  1. 4+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or Engineer professional and a Bachelor's degree relevant to the subject matter OR 6+ years of work experience in the vocation.
  2. Deep knowledge of information security systems, cybersecurity operations, governance, assurance, and compliance.
  3. Understanding of standard professional certification processes, encryption, application security, penetration testing, and computer forensics.
  4. Experience with risk and incident management, the latest security vulnerabilities, advisories, understanding of attacks, and determination of countermeasures.
  5. Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting information technology systems, including Windows, Cisco, and Linux technologies.
  6. Strong command of Network and Systems Security, Cryptography, and Security Infrastructure.
  7. Experience and technical knowledge of Linux, Python, Scripting, Firewalls, SQL Injection, and Network Protocols.
  8. Experience building and leading technical teams.
  9. Comfortable speaking to large groups and mentoring others on the job.
  10. A passion for teaching and mentoring others and creating positive learning experiences.
