Senior Health Economist/ Health Technology Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Economist/ Health Technology Assessment Consultant to join our team at Amaris Consulting. As a Senior Health Economist/ Health Technology Assessment Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance to our clients on health economics and market access issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Design or supervise the design of optimal project solutions to address client needs within the HEOR & Canadian HTA process
- Organize, supervise, and support the project team to ensure high-quality work, as well as efficient and timely completion of the project
- Provide strategic advice within the context of the project (within and beyond the project scope)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Canadian HTA process, private and public payer markets, their drug review processes, and reimbursement trends affecting market access
- Develop technical reports and presentations to disseminate findings
- Develop and manage project stakeholder relations and communications (internal and external)
- Collaborate closely with the business development and delivery management teams, participate in business development meetings
- Advanced degree in a relevant healthcare/bioscience subject (e.g. MSc/PhD in pharmacy, public health, healthcare management, biopharmaceutical sciences, etc)
- 5 years of market access, health economics & outcomes research experience gained primarily in consulting, but also academia or industry
- The successful candidate will offer specific content-related skills and experience in:
- Analysis of research findings and translating into meaningful recommendations to clients
- Familiarity with the CADTH economic evaluation guidelines as well as the BIA requirements for provincial and federal drug benefit programs in Canada
