Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intermediate Project Engineer to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our project development and construction management teams, you will play a central role in driving the development and construction of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the VP Project Development and other Iogen staff and contractors with the delivery of small to medium projects in Iogen's facilities in Ottawa.
  • Support the VP Project Development with the development of large renewable energy projects that Iogen is pursuing.
  • Carry out project management tasks such as planning, cost estimating, reporting, contractor selection and contract management associated with the development and construction of renewable energy projects.
  • Represent Iogen's interests in dealings with customers, clients, sub-contractors, or suppliers.
  • Assist the VP Project Development with the day-to-day operations of Iogen's corporate Project Development team.
Requirements
  • University degree in engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Professional Engineering designation or certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a project engineering/management function for capital projects.
  • Project management professional certification through the Project Management Institute is preferred.
  • Renewable natural gas and/or anaerobic digestion experience would be considered an asset.
