On Side Restoration is seeking a skilled Remediation Specialist to join our team. As a Remediation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe work area from asbestos and mould by removing and remediating potential dangers from the work site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments to identify asbestos and mould contamination
- Develop and implement remediation plans to safely remove contaminated materials
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on remediation progress
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean criminal record
- Ability to communicate in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow scope of work
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Asbestos remediation ticket
- Background in demolition or construction
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
