Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials and molds for production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Use orbital sanders to buff and sand fiberglass parts, achieving a smooth finish.
  • Follow safety procedures and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment and meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production goals and deadlines, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Inspect parts for any issues, using rulers and visual checks to ensure quality.
  • Perform structural repairs to fiberglass components, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge.
  • Operate and maintain tools, such as spray guns, drills, sanders, and polishers, to achieve optimal results.
  • Support Lean and 5S initiatives to maintain a well-organized and efficient workplace.
  • Document non-conformities on a Corrective and Preventive Action Report and submit it to authorized personnel.
Requirements
  • Composite manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Experience with pneumatic, electric, and manual hand tools, with a focus on tool proficiency.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, including lifting, pushing, and pulling, and to stand for long hours.
  • Skilled with hands-on tasks, with strong manual dexterity.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
