Job Summary:

The Geriatric Social Worker will work with our community to provide support and services to seniors and their families. This includes assessing the needs of clients, developing and implementing plans to meet those needs, and providing counseling and therapy to help clients resolve social and personal problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs of clients and develop plans to meet those needs
  • Provide counseling and therapy to help clients resolve social and personal problems
  • Supervise other social workers and support staff
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of seniors and their families
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive services to clients
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Experience working with seniors and their families
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
