Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

Diamond Cleaning is seeking a highly skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect facilities to identify areas that require attention and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend additional services required to maintain facilities, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Manage payment for specialized cleaning jobs and establish work schedules to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Participation in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, or Indigenous people.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
