Job Summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer's performance specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
  • Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advising customers and associates on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Maintaining mechanical service equipment and operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner

Requirements

  • Licensed or Journeyman Status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
  • 5+ years of automotive experience (diesel experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a valid driver's license
