We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Laura Canada. As the Administrative Assistant for the Procurement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Support: Assist in coordinating supplies purchases for our stores, Head Office, and Distribution Centre, ensuring optimal service for all employees and efficient inventory management.
  • Supplier Management: Ensure supplier system information and costing remain up to date to avoid purchasing and sales errors.
  • Invoice Processing: Verify that information on invoices matches purchase orders before sending them to the Accounting Department.
  • Request Management: Receive, treat, and invoice store requests with a high sense of urgency, or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts.
  • Purchase Order Preparation: Prepare purchase orders and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Participate in meetings with store teams for needs assessments and ensure regular store requests on supplies order forms are being addressed adequately.
Requirements
  • Strong Mathematical Skills: Possess strong mathematical skills to accurately manage inventory and perform calculations.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) to efficiently manage documents and data.
  • Organization and Prioritization: Demonstrate strong organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Language Proficiency: Be proficient in French and English (written and spoken) to efficiently communicate with internal and external partners.
