About Us:
Federated Co-operatives Limited is a member-owned co-operative that operates a network of retail stores, gas bars, and other businesses across Western Canada. We are committed to serving our members and communities through our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service at the deli counter, answering questions and making recommendations on products.
- Prepare and package deli meats, cheeses, and other items for sale, ensuring high-quality presentation and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including equipment and workspaces.
- Monitor and control case temperatures, ensuring food safety and quality.
- Perform other duties as required to support the deli team and store operations.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Enthusiastic and efficient approach to work, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
