About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Andis Autobody Repairs. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use specialized tools and equipment to inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust and Repair Automotive Systems: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Advise Customers: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
