System Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team at Assiniboine College. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the college's network and servers, as well as implementing upgrades to existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade the college's network infrastructure, including switching, routing, firewalls, and M365 tenants.
• Troubleshoot network and server problems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply knowledge to improve the college's cyber security posture.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations to users, ensuring they have access to the resources they need.
• Enhance the college's IT systems to meet the needs of faculty and staff.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Technology or related field, supplemented by three or more years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with users.
• Good organizational, analytical, and research skills.

Salary and Benefits
