About the Role

This position involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to contaminated site investigation and remediation in northern or remote settings. You will work directly with Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers, participating in a team environment that values collaboration and open communication.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to business and technical mission of multi-disciplinary team environment within Environmental Management Group.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects related primarily to contaminated site investigation and remediation in northern or remote settings, familiar with Provincial and Federal contaminated sites requirements.
  • Participate in team environment, working directly with Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers.
Requirements
  • University degree in Environmental Management, Biology, Engineering, or related natural/earth sciences.
  • 6+ years of relevant consulting and technical experience as a contaminated sites practitioner.
  • Status as an environmental professional (P.Eng, P.Geo, R.P.Bio., P.Biol, P.Ag.) and/or eligibility for accreditation through a similar professional organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build and lead project team and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Project management experience and experience reporting on contaminant characterization, remediation planning, and contaminated sites-focused regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of environmental chemistry, geology, and contaminant fate and transport to support development of conceptual site models and remediation plans.
  • Experience working in northern and/or remote project environments would be considered an asset.
