In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our students and help create a positive and supportive learning environment. As an Educational Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff members to provide individualized support to students with special needs.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing academic and social support to students with special needs
- Assisting students with accessing the curriculum and participating in class activities
- Implementing strategies to promote student independence and self-advocacy
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Valid first aid and CPR certification
