Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Alaska Avenue Dental in Fort St. John. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch preventive dental care services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for patient care
- Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
- Serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients
- Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on patients' expectations, while maintaining ethical and professional behavior
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
- Registered as a Dental Hygienist and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
- Valid CPR certification
