About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Metro Cleaners 1994 Ltd as a Dry Cleaning and Laundry Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
  • Prepare and Apply Chemicals: Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve optimal cleaning results.
  • Finish and Assemble Articles: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and use finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Inspect and Quality Control: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including matching invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all articles are cleaned and finished to the highest standard.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
