Responsibilities and Requirements:

The Purchaser will be responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution of goods to all business units in Canada. This includes:

  • Adjusting distributions: Adapting shipments for warehouses and the distribution center.
  • Managing purchase orders: Creating and modifying orders according to supplier capacities.
  • Optimizing distribution: Sending the right quantities according to seasons and sales.
  • Checking stocks: Confirming availability for smooth distribution.
  • Managing unforeseen events: Tracking delays and resolving problems with suppliers.
  • Analyzing and tracking: Working with shipping and receiving teams to improve processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or similar.
  • One (1) to two (2) years experience in a similar position.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
