Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at the Coleman Group of Companies.
Job Summary:The Meat Counter Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the accurate display and sale of meat products.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice to customers on meat products, including cuts, quality, and quantity.
- Advertise and promote meat products, sales, and services to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the display of meat products, ensuring they are visually appealing and easily accessible to customers.
- Greet customers, discuss their needs, and provide recommendations on meat products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Criminal record check.
- Own transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent oral communication skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
