We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Yeung Family. As a childcare provider, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of our children in the comfort of our own home.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 7 months experience in childcare. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and be able to provide references upon request.
Responsibilities- Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development and prepare nutritious meals for them.
- Supervise and care for children, taking them to and from school and to appointments as needed.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children and provide a nurturing environment for their growth and development.
- Reliability and flexibility are essential qualities for this role.
- A client-focused approach and the ability to work well under pressure are highly desirable.
- Honesty and integrity are non-negotiable qualities for our team members.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $25-$35 per hour, based on industry standards and location. This rate may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
