Job Overview:

JDA Oilfield Hauling is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine and transmission problems.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles and equipment are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Apprentice or Journeyman HD Mechanic Certification
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Heavy Duty Mechanic Role
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, your own and others.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs and overtime.
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be knowledgeable in common types of trucks and trailers.
  • Problem solving abilities, and ability to diagnose problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

  • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
  • Opportunities for overtime mornings, evenings and weekends.
