Job Summary

Mavenir is seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Radio Unit team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of high-end OpenRAN 5G and 4G radio hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop state-of-the-art 4G/5G radio products, including RF architecture requirements and cascaded analysis.
  • Participate in product studies, especially in the early phases, to identify technology gaps and opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop small signal RF circuit designs and execute design validation testing to ensure high-performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Resolve system, performance, and calibration issues related to RF performance, and develop power amplifier designs and execute design validation testing.
  • Support devising and performing RF and system-level testing as per the 3GPP standard, carriers' specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed technical documents on various engineering subjects relevant to the projects, and work closely with other teams in the global Mavenir R&D community.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge and experience in radio development, specifically related to RF circuits and power amplifiers.
  • Proficiency in RF system architecture and cascaded analysis, as well as knowledge of radio principles, signal processing, and RF design.
  • Experience with simulations tools such as HFSS, ADS, and Momentum, and knowledge of wireless ecosystem, 3GPP, and 5G evolution.
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter, and a great teammate, with outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to network.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills, and desired 5+ years' experience in the telecommunication industry, in radio design and systems engineering roles.
Qualifications
  • BS Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
