Job Description:

Millennium 1 Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Master Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our server and storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define server and storage requirements by working closely with business operations and customers.
  2. Investigate and resolve server and storage access, performance, and capacity issues.
  3. Design and delivery of highly available and site resilient solution designs based on industry best practices and standards.
  4. Monitor server and storage systems by defining and configuring performance-based and capacity-based indicators and alerts.
  5. Perform regular maintenance of server and storage systems, apply security patches and bug fixes, and hardware and software upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge with the Microsoft technology stack (Windows Server, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Active Directory).
  • Advanced knowledge with VMware infrastructure virtualization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cloud infrastructure (Azure).
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with on premise to cloud migrations.
  • Familiar with enterprise data protection and archiving technologies (Veeam).
  • Familiar with enterprise storage technologies (Dell/EMC, Pure Storage).
  • Familiar with IT disaster recovery process.

Additional Information:

This is a Full-Time Hybrid position, 90% remote and 10% in office. The successful candidate will be required to participate in the on-call rotation schedule to cover technical support outside of core business hours.
