Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including hydraulic-operated working attachments, pumps, and mechanical transmissions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Order parts and maintain inventory, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Keep maintenance records and documentation, providing accurate and detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with heavy-duty equipment mechanics to ensure seamless equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, with travel expenses paid by the employer.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills, with a client-focused approach.
