Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Professional to join our team as a Project Safety Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and contractors on construction sites.

Job Description:

  • Safety Program Management: Develop and implement effective safety programs to minimize risks and prevent accidents on construction sites.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near-misses, and other relevant data to inform future safety initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification: Certification as a Project Safety Coordinator or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid: First aid certification, including Level 3.
  • WHMIS Training: Trained in WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working in the construction industry.
