About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Oxen International Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Prepare and package food items for service, including portioning and wrapping.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
  • Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, reheating, and plating.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude are essential.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be required to work in a rural area and may be required to relocate for this position.
