Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team at Private Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Household Chores: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Private residence.
