Job Title: Dispatcher

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team at NAPA Auto Parts. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in creating efficient routes for our delivery drivers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.
  • Driver Management: Assign deliveries to drivers based on location and priority, ensuring that drivers have the necessary information to complete their routes.
  • Order Management: Ensure that orders are accurate and ready for shipment, and that drivers enter delivery times into the delivery management system.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that drivers have access to the necessary parts to complete their deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure that customers receive their orders on time and in good condition.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dispatching Experience: Previous dispatching experience is an asset, but not required.
