Housekeeping Responsibilities:

At Jay, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our motel rooms. Your duties will include:

  • Changing bed linen and making beds
  • Washing used linen
  • Emptying rubbish and recycling bins
  • Vacuuming floors and carpets
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Dusting, wiping, and cleaning surfaces
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Checking inventory and restocking/replacing items
  • Adhering to safety and sanitation standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
