We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Robinson Contracting Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
• Prepare layouts and use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create frames and structures.
• Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites to meet deadlines and ensure efficient project delivery.
• Instruct and supervise apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge.

• Work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
• Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience in the trade is an asset.
