Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and the environment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and strategies to protect our employees and the environment from potential hazards.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement EHS programs and strategies to protect employees and the environment.
- Develop and deliver training materials to support the understanding and implementation of EHS written standards and programs.
- Work with local managers and supervisors to evaluate safety measurement and performance, and develop action plans to improve results.
- Participate in the company's response to accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
- Identify potentially hazardous areas of concern and non-compliance, provide recommendations, and work with the business to build and implement an action plan to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conduct EHS audits, risk assessments, reviews, and inspections in assigned work areas to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate the execution of EHS programs/projects, maintain and report EHS statistics (safety measurements and performance).
- Serve as the liaison with internal audit, regulatory agencies, and emergency response organizations, as applicable, and participate in safety meetings with field personnel and contractors.
- 3+ years' relevant experience related to Environmental, Health, Safety, and Compliance, and 3-5+ years of petroleum and transportation industry experience.
- Post-secondary education in EHS program, or equivalent.
- Professional Safety designation.
