Accounting Manager Job Description

Pathfind is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for supervising the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including Epicor Prophet21 software.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions.
Requirements:
  • CPA or comparable accounting designation required.
  • 3 years related professional experience required.
  • 1-2 years experience managing and mentoring an accounting team required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Epicor Prophet21 software an asset.
What We Offer:

Pathfind offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
