Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to build and maintain our market-leading desktop enterprise solution, axiUm. This involves working throughout all phases of the software development life cycle, leveraging drive for technology and quality to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and direction.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software on time.
  • Mentor junior engineers to help them improve their technical skills and understanding of best practices.
  • Oversee the full SDLC, from requirements gathering to delivery and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, such as SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Solid development experience with C++, C#, and .NET, Web APIs technologies.
  • Professional knowledge of OOP and enterprise design patterns.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle/Postgres or other relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Hands-on experience with scaled web application development, service-oriented, or micro-services architectures.
