We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Redwood Residence Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, home care, and visiting care agencies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer.
  • Willing to relocate for this position.
