We are a passionate, community-focused team dedicated to making our properties the best they can be. Our hotel in Iqaluit, NU is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team.

This role involves performing routine duties in cleaning and servicing guest rooms under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor. The successful candidate will promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and able to address guest requests and problems.

Responsibilities:
  • Enter and prepare the room for cleaning
  • Dust the room and furniture
  • Make the bed(s)
  • Replenish guestroom and bath supplies
  • Clean the bathroom
  • Clean the closet
  • Vacuum the carpets
  • Check and secure the room
  • Perform rotation cleaning duties as required
  • Attend to guest calls, requests, and complaints
  • Follow standard operating procedures
  • Clean, organize, and restock housekeeper cart at end of shift

Qualifications:

  • Multitasking and attention to detail
  • Able to work efficiently completing a set standard number of rooms per shift
  • Professional attitude
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to climb stairs numerous times a day
  • Effective communication with guests, co-workers, and management
