Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at North Delta Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and perform emergency roadside repairs when necessary
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road for extended periods, often away from home. You will be required to work a 40-hour week, with opportunities for overtime.
