About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expert, Security Architecture to join our team at Canadian National Railway. As a key member of our Information & Technology (I&T) team, you will play a critical role in shaping our security strategy and ensuring the safety of our computing operations and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive security architecture framework, aligning with our governance framework and risk management processes.
  • Provide thought leadership and coaching to stakeholders and peer architects on security architecture best practices.
  • Lead security transformation efforts through enterprise architecture initiatives and artifact documentation.
  • Define the security vision, principles, strategy, operating model, and architecture to drive our security capabilities.
  • Collaborate with peer architects to produce and maintain consistent security architecture artifacts.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in various architecture roles, with recent experience in security transformation.
  • Strong understanding of security implications of complex business operations and technological solutions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, OWASP).
  • Ability to define and organize an architecture security apparatus in reusable building blocks.
