As a key member of our culinary team, you will support the delivery of high-quality dining experiences by efficiently preparing a wide variety of cooking ingredients. This role reports to the Executive Chef and works under the supervision of the Chef de Partie.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining supplies of prepped ingredients and dish components to ensure seamless meal preparation.
- Assembling entrées from pre-prepared components and preparing baked goods to meet our culinary standards.
- Carrying out general cleaning and kitchen maintenance to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Working effectively as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient preparation of food.
- Strictly following established processes and standards for safe food production and handling.
Successful candidates are subject to a background check and must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment, which may expose you to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace.

Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position, including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
QualificationsEducation:
- A combination of education/training and directly related experience.
Experience:
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen would be preferred.
- Experience working with diverse situations and personalities.
