About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Shop Operations Manager to join our team at Source Energy Services. As a Shop Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shop, including managing a team of shop mechanics and field technicians. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and specialized oilfield equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of shop mechanics and field technicians
  • Organize the shop and implement strategies to optimize an efficient workflow
  • Execute all maintenance processes and help integrate improvements where appropriate
  • Utilize CMMS software to proactively manage maintenance tasks, inventory, certifications, and equipment history
  • Act as a link between field and shop/maintenance, diagnosing over the phone and determining necessary parts/service required from limited information

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in a similar role within a mechanical or industrial environment
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
  • Excellent knowledge of shop operations, repair procedures, and industry best practices
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
