Job Overview

CROWN ACCOUNTING SERVICES INC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and maintaining general ledgers.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description

This is a permanent full-time position that requires 30-44 hours of work per week. You will need to have a college or CEGEP education and at least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Maintain financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
