About the Role

The Senior Accountant will play a strategic role in the management of the complete accounting cycle, supporting managers through varied responsibilities crucial to the production of financial information. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform comparative analyses for various accounts in the general ledger.
  • Evaluate the integrity of capital projects, inventories, and databases.
  • Analyze variances and actual budgets.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage the company's monthly and annual tax returns.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and deposits.
  • Participate in annual audits.
  • Implement and supervise internal controls.
  • Supervise administrative support staff.
  • Manage payroll process (less than 100 employees).
Requirements
  • BAC in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 4-8 years of experience.
  • Excellent command of Office suite.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics/Navision.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Bilingualism, the person will have to interact with the financial controller in Chicago.
  • Autonomous, resourceful, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make proactive decisions.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and sense of precision.
